How it works and quality

Written procedures. Documented checks. Limits stated.

Every job runs under the same written procedures, every delivery passes documented checks, and every delivery states what was not captured as clearly as what was.

How a job runs

  1. We learn the brief

Who will use the files, who approves the vendor, when access exists, and whether there's a written delivery specification. We learn your specification and acceptance checks before we quote.

  2. We quote the deliverable

Scope, deliverables, acceptance checks, review window, exclusions, and the cost of extra visits, changed briefs and rush work, in writing.

  3. We capture

For measured jobs: handheld lidar with 360 color, fixed ground targets and closed loops every time. A second 360 camera on a tripod shoots fixed positions and HDRIs, and is the backup camera on every job. Handheld capture is fast, so it fits short access windows.

  4. We process and check

Processing is done in-house. Every delivery passes documented checks, and defects are removed or disclosed.

  5. We deliver

One browser link, tested on an iPad before release, with 360 panoramas, the 3D model, the point cloud, a measurement sheet and the coverage report.

  6. You accept

You review against the acceptance checks agreed in the quote, within the review window. If we find a problem, you hear it from us first.

Accuracy

Our standard is under 3/8 in (1 cm), using fixed ground targets and closed loops on every job. That is enough for design and renovation work.

It is not survey-grade. Millimeter work, such as ride and structural engineering, stays with tripod survey crews.

The coverage report

Every delivery includes a coverage report: what was captured, the known gaps, and how it was checked.

Glass, mirrors, glossy black surfaces and very dark interiors don't capture well. We scope them out in the quote or disclose them in the report.

Alongside the 3D model, we always ship the 360 panoramas and the point cloud, so a gap in one isn't a gap in your record.

What we don't do

  • Sound, power or sun path at a location
  • Final-pixel hero imagery
  • Performer capture
  • Survey-grade measurement

Your data

You own the data.

It is processed on our own encrypted machine, or on AWS in a US region. It is not shared with any third party. It is deleted after delivery unless you buy archive storage.
