Capture

Handheld, in short windows

For measured jobs: handheld lidar with 360 color, fixed ground targets and closed loops every time.

A second 360 camera on a tripod shoots fixed positions and HDRIs, and is the backup camera on every job. Handheld capture is fast, so it fits short access windows.

Processing is done in-house. Every delivery passes documented checks, and defects are removed or disclosed.

Accuracy

Measured to under 3/8 in (1 cm)

Our standard is under 3/8 in (1 cm), using fixed ground targets and closed loops on every measured job. That is enough for design and renovation work.

It is not survey-grade. Millimeter work, such as ride and structural engineering, stays with tripod survey crews.

Limits

What a scan doesn't do

Alongside the 3D model, we always ship the 360 panoramas and the point cloud, so a gap in one isn't a gap in your record.

Doesn't capture well

  • Mirrors
  • Glossy black surfaces
  • Very dark interiors

We scope them out in the quote or disclose them in the coverage report.

What we don't do

  • Sound, power or sun path at a location
  • Final-pixel hero imagery
  • Performer capture
  • Survey-grade measurement

Your data

You own the data

It is processed on our own encrypted machine, or on AWS in a US region. It is not shared with any third party.

It is deleted after delivery unless you buy archive storage.
